Group Hypnosis
Kim will lead a group hypnosis to turn your subconscious away from the thoughts that hold you back. Your headphones will allow the gentle backdrop hum of the train to ease you into deep trance, while Kim’s voice holds your subconscious attention. Choose relaxing sensations and resources, as we take our train journey away and give the mind some space at the same time. Anchor helpful thoughts into your day, your week, and beyond.
Red Thread Art
The meridian line to the heart is through the little finger. In Asian myths they believe there is an invisible red thread that extends from our little finger to the ones we love. Different cultures have an infinity to red thread as a means of making a “pinky promise” or as protection to ward off misfortune or signify good fortune.
In these cultural beliefs it is said that human connections have a predestined fate. They twist, tangle, stretch, sometimes unravel but it can never break the connection. We meet people that make a significant impact on our lives and with whom we will make history.
Sashiko is traditional Japanese embroidery predominately using a running stitch to make patterns and forms from nature to mend or ordain garments.
Bringing the philosophies of the red thread of fate with sashiko we will use nature to inspire a piece of personalized embroidery.
Sound Bath
Charlotte will guide you through a grounding experience which combines sound, breath to help you feel deeply relaxed, balanced and connected to your inner world. Spend some time 'tuning out' to 'tune in'. Experience the transformative power of sound.
Middle-eastern Dance
Belly dance welcomes and celebrates people from all walks of life, all ages, shapes and abilities. It has the potential to improve our mind/body/heart connection. Physically, it improves our range of movement, flexibility, balance, strength and coordination. It’s an expression of the heart, through the body - joyous celebration of community, music and dance.
Assisted by the rhythmic motion of the train, Lisa invites you to explore some Middle Eastern Dance movements with our bodies. In response to the drums, we’ll link those movements together into a short combination and connect with one another as we dance. Please note, the option to literally dance in your seat will be available if you prefer.
